    Therefore, Speed = [ 45 X \(\frac {5 } { 18 }]\)     m/sec =   m/sec.
       

     

    Total distance to be covered = (360 + 140) m = 500 m.

     

    Formula for finding time=  \([\frac { Distance } { speed } ]\)    
     

     

     Required time = \([\frac {500*2 } { 2 5} ]\)     sec = 40 sec.
