As per provisions under Article-356, if President on receipt of report from Governor of State or otherwise is satisfied that a situation has arisen in which Government of state cannot be carried on in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, he may issue a proclamation of State Emergency. By proclamation, President can dismiss State Government. State Legislative Assembly can be suspended dissolved.
