- An express train travelled at an average speed of 100km/hr stopping for 3 minutes after 75km. A local after travelled at a speed of 50 km/hr, stopping for 1 minute after every 25km. If the trains began travelling at the same time how many km and did the local train travel in the time it took the express train to travel 60 km?

Explanation :
Time taken by express train to cover 75km plus stoppage =(60/100 x 75)min + 3 min = 48 min
