Explanation :
Let the present age of Nitika be 4x years and that of Kruti be 3x years.
Therefore, 4x + 3x = 21 * 2
=> 7x = 42
=> x = 42/7 = 6
Therefore Kruti's present age = 3x = 3 * 6 = 18 years
